I am a board certified physician in both sports medicine and rehabilitation medicine.  My clinical interests include biomechanics, rehabilitation medicine, pain science, spine care, electrodiagnostic medicine, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and medical education.

After medical school I decided to specialize in physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R) also known as physiatry.  It is the only medical specialty that focuses on how bone, muscle, and nerve injuries influence movement.  From a young age,  sports injuries were an interest of mine.  Coming from an osteopathic medicine background, the transition to both PM&R and sports medicine was very natural.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my amazing wife, chasing my two children, and practicing jiu-jitsu.
